what is Christian counseling?

A mind, body, and spirit approach grounded in your inherent nature to receive forever healing, wholeness, and oneness from His presence of truth.

Integrative Christian counseling can help make the truths of who you are in Christ a reality in your mind, body, and spirit.

  • Christian counseling aims to help reconnect believers in Christ back to their identity and oneness with Him amid the pain and trauma experienced in a fallen world.

  • Christian counseling works by honoring the created being of a whole-person through integrating psychology and theology clinical approaches in the healing process. This can be done through talk therapy and embodied approaches like EMDR.

  • Christian counseling tools can look like whatever you request or consent to as the client and will be specific to your needs, relationship with the Lord, and desires for counseling.

    • Satan’s main goal is to attack believers in Christ with the spirit of darkness and disconnect them from the presence, life, and truth of Christ. (Ephesians 6 + John 10:10)

    • The enemy’s aim is to distort pain and suffering and create a narrative that moves you away from the truth of who you are in Christ. This keeps the believer in a cycle of distress instead of their inherent place of rest in Him.

    • A stronghold is a reinforced structure in the mind. This cognitive structure is solidified deeper through experiences, repetitive thoughts, inner narratives, somatic responses, and more.

    • Strongholds control the way you move through life and how you view yourself.

    • Divine Stronghold: Reinforces the believer in His truth and ushers them back to a place of rest, wholeness, and life.

    • Enemy Stronghold: Comes against the truth of who you are in Christ and leads the believer to a place of distress.

    • God created encountering Him and healing to be an embodied experience. This involves the whole-person.

    • God created the nervous system to be at one and safe in a place of rest and connection. He also made a way to continually enter back into that state.

    • In His kindness and tenderness He doesn’t just want you to know the truth in head knowledge, but to experience truth and feel the mind, body, and spirit connection.
