EMDR: Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing

An embodied approach to healing that aligns with your created nature to heal at the root of your pain in mind, body, and spirit.

EMDR therapy can help you feel safe, connected, and whole in mind, body, and spirit.

EMDR is an evidence-based method that helps reconnect the brain and body by feeling through and releasing out various places the brain is stuck in cycles of distress and increasing your symptoms of anxiety.

  • The whole-person approach of EMDR works to help the brain and body move through stuck places, cycles, memories, body sensations, and more to then create space for new positive experiences of safety and connection.

  • EMDR involves:

    • Identifying the places of distress and anxiety you are experiencing.

    • Creating moments of safety and connection that allow you to shift from distress to calm and rest.

    • Process the deep roots of sensations, memories, emotions, beliefs about yourself, and behaviors keeping you stuck in cycles of distress.

    • Feeling through and releasing your stuck points to create space for new connections and patterns of safety to develop.

    • Empowering you with lifelong adaptive skills to help you move forward alive, whole, and free.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Whatever it is that you’re experiencing, there is room for healing.
